Welcome to my blog about pets. I am Jen, a pet sitter in the Mims/Titusville Florida area. My husband, Corey and I started Furriendly Critter Sitters LLC in early 2022.
I have over two years of professional pet sitting experience but have had pets my whole life. Some include dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and fish just to name a few. Currently we have three dogs, three cats, and a sugar glider living with us.
This is my cat Biscuit. She is a Scottish fold golden tabby. We got her two years ago. It seems like we just got her yesterday. The time sure flies.
This is my dog Schnapps. He is 12 years old. We got him when we lived in Hawaii. He's been though a lot with us. All our moves in the military and after. Both myself and my husband are disabled military veterans. I was in the Air Force and my husband was in the Marine Corps.
I am a very proud veteran and thank all of those who have served, are serving, or will serve in the future. We moved to Mims, Florida in 2020 right when the pandemic hit. We moved from Maryland the same month as everything shut down. That sure was an interesting experience.
We love it here in Mims. We both grew up in different parts of Florida so it made sense that we would find our way back here after our time in the military. Living in central Florida is a new experience for us but we love it.
Those of you unfamiliar with the area, Mims has a country feel to it. Most of my neighbors have livestock. When I go outside I often here goats, donkeys, cows, and horses. I hope to one day to pet sit for some farms. I think it would be an awesome experience.
